Frost and wife moving back to AZ?

Buddy just happened to send this to me..

Must be nice to fail coaching sports and be set for life..

$5,400,000. WOW..

Its why I lol at opposing fans of any school who says nobody will take a job at any school...they're all lottery tickets now.
Yeah the whole “who would come coach here” response was just a pathetic excuse from those who are incapable of seeing their man-crush was the worst thing to happen to the program since they started playing the game.

I got a buddy that told me, he'll be going with a Satellite package this time around. Cox cable wasn't good for the marriage.

Nebraska has paid so many severance packages for so many coaches and A.D's the last 20 years I've lost track.
Yes, must by why he told Trev he wanted it in writing when Trev gave specifics on getting back to 5$ million a year from 4$ million on his contract! Plus all the extra benefits & perks that can with the job! Scott Frost only cared about Scott Frost! SAD, when good Husker fans I know, that don't know the information about Scott, and say, "I still really like him & think he is a good coach"!

It’s even more sad when they still White Knight for a lazy loser, that wouldn’t bother to piss on them if they were on fire. They still think that somehow he will see it, and they can run away together or something. Sad

I might be wrong, but my understanding was that Trev told him before the season started that he had to win 6 games or be fired. Since Trev pulled the trigger early, going against his word, is anyone surprised Scott would want things in writing after that. I think anyone would respond the same way Scott did in that circumstance.

I know his wife is from Arizona, but if I had $5 mill to drop on real estate, I sure as hell wouldn't buy property in Phoenix. The heat there is unbearable there half the year. And will they even have any water there 20 years from now?

Isn’t it also a horrible housing market in the PHX area right now? Seems like you are risking the value of that property tanking.

Nope, Alberts probably should have included some other milestones in their deal, like number of times late for practice, number of margarita's on a recruiting trip. Frost is not a victim here.

Phoenix has 3 maybe 3.5 months of heat that some might consider unbearable... The other 8-9 months are shorts, flip flops, and golf weather...

Well little Scotty was never the brightest dude. He transferred from Stanford cause he couldn't make the grades, not cause he wasn't the starting QB. IQ < 75.

Pretty hard to beat Phoenix winters!
Yup. It will be interesting to see what he does from here. Is he still going to coach CFB at some level and buying a house for his family and a home base for him or is he cashing in his chips and playing golf year round?

The house pictured looks like the one in Scottsdale I went to to buy 2 tickets for the 1990 Fiesta Bowl. 1963 Jag parked in the driveway, made me wonder what kind of cars were behind the other 7 garage doors. Face on the tickets was $40. It was 2 hours before KO. He wanted $45. I argued for face for 5 minutes, but he wouldn't budge. Guess that's why he lived where he did and I lived where I did.

good

never come back, "coach". you are no longer welcome in your own home. your family name is synonymous with shit
I wouldn't go that far but it does seem like he was in it for himself and really didn't care what was best for the program.
You could argue that anyone would do it but I don't agree. Once you are set for life financially, I think you would be wise to consider your legacy and what's best for the program.
I think he always figured he could bail and leave Nebraska behind. Bye.

I can guarantee you they couldn’t get out of Lincoln fast enough.. This time she said we’re living where I want to live and if you don like it you’re gone..

Think about it. If he received $15M from us and was taxed at 50% of that and paid that purchase price price he only would have $2.1M left. If he put the balance in the bank in a CD, he'd only be earning $84,000 a year. Plus he would have to pay around $34,500 for property taxes. Doesn't leave much left to play golf the rest of his life at $4,000 a month...

if I was frost I'd do a solich thing...find a bad g5 school and recruit/design it the way he wants.
I think he could rebuild a school, with less stature and pressure to win.

if I was a coach, I'd want the unlv job...best stadium in the world and mgm to supply nil...

Every Frosturbator did the same to Riley, not a word. Stop acting all offended.
Right after you quit the constant drumbeat of acting all personally offended by the failure of a grand-scheme-of-things stupid cfb coach to win football games. And I didn’t care about Riley’s, frank’s, or Bo’s personal life either. They don’t care about mine why should I speculate about theirs.

It's possible to think something is stupid without being offended.

I do not know Frost personally and I have no idea if any of the gossip about him is true. All I know is he failed here as a coach but is now a rich man. I don't give a rat's fart where he lives now or how many millions his house cost. He coached here for four years and is now gone. That is the end of my interest in him. Goodbye and good riddance.
