Clark looks like the exact kind of kid DH likes on the outside. I also think Lloyd and Barney are the exact kind of players he likes as inside receivers. Let's hope he stays and brings the best out of these young WR's.

Yes. I have a lot more confidence in that happening with DH. Also hope we can continue to use and develop Bonner and Carter Nelson (if healthy?) a lot more going forward. Satt didn’t know how to use any of these guys well — he had no feel for it.

Yep. I’m going to bet Clark will block well on the outside too. It looked like he wasn’t afraid to lay the wood in some of those plays on defense.

It has nothing to do with my personal wellbeing and everything to do with my home state and alma mater being viewed as a punching bag/laughing stock

I have a family, I have small kids, I am successful and growing in my career. If NU shuttered the football program I would be just fine.

I do care about our reputation and I am a proud Nebraskan and Husker.

It would be nice to have leaders producing a product worthy of the 92k in Memorial Stadium and the 1.5M Huskers they represent.

The growing apathy I see here is the canary in the coal mine for the death of our #1 source of civic pride as Nebraskans.

I don't think apathy is the right word. We all care a great deal. We just aren't going to beat a dead horse over and over and over....

We all remain hopeful. We are all riding with the same horse, we (most of us) have little to do with who is head coach at NE or who is QB1. So beating that guy down everyday on a message board seems kind of foolish.

Instant reactions after games are understandable. Daily/hourly/multiple thread postings about it are f'ing crazy. Say what you want to say and be done with it.

See, now that's the problem. When someone starts to tell us grown ass men how we're supposed to think or feel or act. I quit listening to guys like you about 50 years ago.

Some have mad passion for the program, others are big fans, some are more than casual fans, some have lost a lost of interest, some have just checked out. We don't all care a great deal.
