Florida State..WTF

how did everyone not see this coming? Georgia has everyone playing. Florida state has no one. This game is meaningless.

Also for the betters out there…find the games where one team has a lot of opt outs/transfers and the other has none. It tells you who want to be there. Mizzou, ole miss and Georgia were easy money

Worst bowl season ever. Let's hope the playoffs will at least be competitive.
Which is why I’m glad we’re going to a bigger playoff system. These bowl games would continue this trend if we didn’t. Most of these bowl games aren’t even worth watching. I remember the Orange Bowl when it was played at night with Don Criqui calling the game. The good ole days.

I don't care who wins this game, but if college football doesn't do something about these opt outs and pre-bowl game / playoff portal transfers, it's going to eat itself up.

Don't think ESPN is too happy with 42-3 at halftime and a bunch of "team X gives zero craps about this game" at the Orange Bowl.

And probably less than thrilled with 3-0 through 3 quarters last night at the Cotton with very key, very marketable players sitting.

The networks aren't getting what they bought.

Which is going to affect things sooner or later. Whether it's bowl payouts or playoff payouts.

Players will absolutely opt out of / transfer before expanded playoff games, same as they do for the bowls.

I like CFB, but have already switched to a movie.

This game is over. Florida St should just pack it up at halftime and GTFO there. Record breaking stats coming soon if they don't forfeit already.

NCAA/bowls will need to start paying teams for playing, and star players get more.

Bowls are officially 100 percent meaningless. It matters to make one for the extra practices. The games themselves are glorified scrimmages for the players who don’t opt out or transfer…
The playoff has killed bowl season. It sucks. All in the name of trying to attract nfl fans that never understood college football to begin with.

They need to eliminate the transfer portal opening prior to the end of the season. That’s step one. Step two is finding a way to limit tampering and limiting transfers. Kids can’t just change schools every year. That’s absurd. Third, schools need to tie NIL to completing the season somehow. Fourth, this games are really telling as to what coaches are building a culture and program and which ones have a roster full of talent that are only out for themselves. I think we have a guy that players won’t opt out on in Rhule. Time will tell.

Once the portal was allowed with with little consequence Pandora's box was opened and can't be shut. There should be rules about opting out but I'm not sure what can be done unless players with NIL deals have it in their contract NO OPT OUTS. I think we are seeing the slow death of college sports as most of us remember it. jmo

Sound advise in this crazy world of D1. Moneylines have hit early In the bowl season. And Ol’ Miss, that was another big hit! Good observation, Shiner!

The love of the game is gone. Now it’s just becoMing NFL junior league. The passion and pride associate with college football is what set it apart and made it great. It’s quickly dying.
