Hey all, @David Eickholt will be with you on the thread tonight, but I'm getting you started. Big Ten-leading Nebraska takes on Michigan State tonight at Haymarket Park, Game 1 of a three-game series.

Because NET has to show random Nebraskans talking about road construction or something, the game will start at 6:35 on NET World and then move to NET at 7:00. It can be heard on 1400/590 AM, Huskers.com, TuneIn, and the official Huskers app.

Tonight's pitching matchup will feature Nebraska right-hander Jake Hohensee and Michigan State two-way lefty Alex Troop. Troop was listed as a preseason All-Big Ten player.

Nebraska's All-American, junior utility player Jake Meyers, is out for the night with a hand injury. From what I know, he'll be back to pitch on Sunday. Joe Acker is starting in center field in his place.
