I've been on this board for approx. 16 years thru Frank, Cally, Bo & MR. Lucky enough to have become friends with Roz including many wonderful phone convos & even traveled to a game with him. Have seen Mike, Nate, Sean, JT, Bryan, Robin, Greg, our stud interns, etc. grow. Have had some calm meet-ups as well as unbelievable crazy times with others at home & away games, their towns of residence, here in LV, etc. And I have great pre-RSS friends on here from Richardson County, Homesteader Conference, UNL, business, Faith, organizations, Indian Country, etc.
Some want us to believe we're supposed to accept message boards being filled with hate, stalking & negativity because of young people ruined by social media or some other hogwash. I don't see that with the kids on our TEAM & recruiting, my neighbor kids, kids I teach in CCD, kids I've coached, kids in Indian Country, my nephews & nieces, etc. I don't see it in approx. 99.998% of the approx. 10,000 HO members (posters, lurkers, etc). The 99.998% still rate as the greatest fans in the world.
Unfortunately, there are approx. 0.002% (approx. 20) who continually stalk, hate with an unending negativity hoping to drag the 99.998% greatest fans down to their life of failure & misery. These aren't people who simply disagree or have an alternative opinion. These are people who "live" for negativity. We've had many great members (posters, lurkers, etc) who had many varying opinions on Frank, Cally, Bo, MR, their staffs, etc. who finally threw in the towel and left because of the chronic negativity & hate of the same 0.002% Undoubtedly, the 0.002% will come out in response to this thread spewing hate & making excuses & blaming others.
Honestly, I laugh when reading most of the jabs at me on here as some have a pretty wicked & fun sense of humor. They make RSS fun. I've even been lucky enough to meet and become friends with some of those same people including those who disagreed with me. I can accept when somebody constructively corrects me which pretty much happens every day in my RSS, biz & personal life.
I hope all of you get to have at least 1/1000th of the fun I've had being a member of this board. My last bits of RSS advice are simply use @sparky62 sauce (I do know BBQ), don't let Dr. O catch you with the Devil's lettuce, pray every 4 & 5 star OT in America wants to be a Husker, cheer for MR's success and don't let the 0.002% ruin your luv for our TEAM or 99.998% great RSS members.
