UPDATE 12:45 p.m. after delay:

Welcome in to today's game thread! Top-seeded Nebraska (35-18-1) has advanced in the winners bracket after Wednesday's 15-9 win over Purdue and will now face 5-seed Iowa (35-19) at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind. The Huskers will be looking for a bit of redemption in this game, as Iowa was the only team to beat Nebraska in a weekend series this season.

The game will start at 1:22 p.m. CT (2:22 p.m. ET) following a 40-minute warm-up. The game can be seen on BTN and can be heard on 1400/590 AM, Huskers.com, the official Huskers app, and the Husker IMG Sports Network on TuneIn.

Because of Big Ten baseball tournament rules, since Iowa was the road team in its first game and Nebraska was the home team, they will flip for this game, meaning Nebraska will bat first.

Today's pitching matchup features Nebraska senior right-hander Derek Burkamper (6-4, team-low 3.05 ERA, 62.0 IP, 46 K) and Iowa senior left-hander Ryan Erickson (2-3, 3.32 ERA, 62.1 IP, 41 K). Nebraska features two All-Big Ten players in utility player Jake Meyers and designated hitter Scott Schreiber, while Iowa features Big Ten Player of the Year Jake Adams.
