Wasn't the greatest pass ever but happy to see a legit td pass and happy to see Fidone make a good snag. Lord knows we missed or dropped enough of those would be td's over the years.
After 2 starts? Geezus dingle. Embarrassing stuff from youNOBODY wants him to fail. Let’s just be rational about his abilities. Big strong athletic kid who has some shortcomings in the passing game. In other words he’s pretty typical of many NU QBs over the last 40 years.. There’s a reason we haven’t had QBs drafted as QBs for decades.
That was before Thompson and Smothers transferred. You refuse to answer the question of whether or not recruiting QBs like Haarberg is good enough for NU.surely you can admit you were wrong when during the spring game you said "there's no chance he plays this fall" after you said who cares if he's hurt?
Geezus. Crusade against Haarberg? Really? Being rational about a player is hardly a crusade. Kong on the other hand has suggested a QB should commit suicide.Reading a post that says people will be clamoring for Jeff Sims after next week says different after only his second start in this very thread. Multiple years plus 2 games as a starter this year Sims is exactly the same. Dingle has really led the crusade against HH since spring. Sad deal for the kid. Just glad @dinglefritz has no say in.
Or Nebraska football in general. Good Lord, the play was a decisive game changer and a very satisfactory win but the experts here can only talk about 1) the pass was too high 2/3) the OL play was only decent and their Coach has not been fired yet 4) WE SUCK.I would argue LT defense is every bit as good as Colorados. With that said. I'm not going to go over the top about HH. But exactly what have we seen out of Sims to be clamoring for him to be a starter? Poor decisions many turnovers has been Sims story this year. HH is every bit as dangerous as Sims running and yes HH throws the ball high. But he doesn't turn the ball over. HH has 2 total starts in his career. Sims has what 3 years. Sims is who he is.
It amazes me at the people that just seem to want HH to fail.
LOLThat was before Thompson and Smothers transferred. You refuse to answer the question of whether or not recruiting QBs like Haarberg is good enough for NU.
You’re a liar. Answer the question. Is recruiting high schoolers with Haarberg’s resume and offer list good enough for you ? Is it good enough for us to win conference titles?LOL
weren't you the guy spending the entire off-season spouting off about how just making a bowl game is a huge step in the right direction?
now that Haarberg is our QB, you're talking about beating michigan & winning
conference titles.
love to see it. keep moving those goalposts, Mr. Insecure.
"I was wrong". try it sometime. it's super easy and makes you look much less like a blowhard.
He was under pressure as always .when he has a clean pocket (very rare) he is like most QBs throws a decent ball.It was definitely a poor throw as were most of HHs today. He throws a nice tight spiral though. The pass to TF was lead high and TF made a great leaping catch.
what am I lying about? be specific, please. You’re a liar. Answer the question. Is recruiting high schoolers with Haarberg’s resume and offer list good enough for you ? Is it good enough for us to win conference titles?
Thought the same thing. Looks like he could truck someone if he got going but still looks a little rusty and missing some burst. Not hard to see the athletism though that made him such a coveted recruit. Looks like a great end zone jump ball candidate. At some point he's going to have to take that brace off and let go of the injuries. He still looks very awkward running
You have been on one since spring. But yet he is 2-0 and not a turnover machine with only 2 starts. You do not deal on facts. You are clueless.Geezus. Crusade against Haarberg? Really? Being rational about a player is hardly a crusade. Kong on the other hand has suggested a QB should commit suicide.
He won't answer. He has embarrassed himself constantly. Especially here lately. His post have zero substance.what am I lying about? be specific, please.
yes, I believe Haarberg will have us in the hunt for a B1G title before his career is through.
Also worth mentioning that HH graduated high school during COVID when he couldn’t go to any campsYou’re a liar. Answer the question. Is recruiting high schoolers with Haarberg’s resume and offer list good enough for you ? Is it good enough for us to win conference titles?
I called for Sims to be benched. You need to get the facts straight. You have been on one since spring. But yet he is 2-0 and not a turnover machine with only 2 starts. You do not deal on facts. You are clueless.
Haarberg doesn’t run 4.5.Also worth mentioning that HH graduated high school during COVID when he couldn’t go to any camps
If you don’t think a 6’5” Adonis with 4.5 speed and a howitzer arm wouldn’t have blown up with offers, you’re once again being willfully ignorant
We’re very lucky he grew up here, and it was not a mistake to take him, as you said and continue to believe
Aren’t you one of the people who think we are a developmental program and also a massive supporter for giving Rhule time? let’s focus on winning enough games to get bowl eligibility before we talk conference titles. You’re a liar. Answer the question. Is recruiting high schoolers with Haarberg’s resume and offer list good enough for you ? Is it good enough for us to win conference titles?
Adrian ran a 4.55 I don’t believe he is to far if at all behind Adrian.Haarberg doesn’t run 4.5.
But if he takes that brace off he might start running down highways like Forrest Gump and return with a beard brushing his navel and hoping to find two more years of eligibility. Those braces allow a career to happen not hinder it. Especially with a player who has had two major surgeries. At some point he's going to have to take that brace off and let go of the injuries. He still looks very awkward running
Dang. Then I have witnessed the most incredible 4.6/4.7 runs since Johnny Rodgers put them in the aisles in 1970.Haarberg doesn’t run 4.5.
So what do you want? Another transfer QB that couldn't cut it at his previous school to ride pine with Sims and Purdy while Heinrich Haarberg earns respect because he can cut it and is here for Nebraska winning not NIL.You’re a liar. Answer the question. Is recruiting high schoolers with Haarberg’s resume and offer list good enough for you ? Is it good enough for us to win conference titles?
He wants to be rightSo what do you want? Another transfer QB that couldn't cut it at his previous school to ride pine with Sims and Purdy while Heinrich Haarberg earns respect because he can cut it and is here for Nebraska winning not NIL.
Chubba Purdy has had many opportunities to prove he is as bad ass as his brother at both Florida St and Nebraska. Sadly he has not born any fruit for either team on the field of play. If Chubba decides to live the rest of his life in Nebraska I would welcome him. Same for Jeff Sims. On the football field though is is what it is.I find it just delightful that purdy “showed some things” to @dinglefritz last year to convince him we could win with him. Talked about him all off-season.
Haarberg goes 2-0 and he’s looking to the portal while asking who else offered him.
Literally could go no other way.
Absolutely hilarious.
