Asahi is ok. I'd take Kirin or Sapporo if you're going Japanese beer. Think Asahi is the biggest though.Guinness, coors banquet, asahi, tecate, Yuengling, Stella
That was my gateway to craft beer. From there moved on to IPAs. Haven't had one in forever.Boulevard Pale Ale - their original. It’s a tragedy that I had to be the first one to mention it.

Not to mention lots of great hard ciders. Besides hops, Yakima is the home of Tieton Cider Works, which is one of my favorite hard cider brands. I enjoyed a flight of hard cider at their cider bar a few years back.Too many really good craft beers here in the Northwest. Yakima, Washington is definitely the capitol of hop growing in the US. Over 70% of American produced hops come from there. Two of my favorite breweries are Bayern Brewery in Missoula, MT and Terminal Gravity Brewing based in tiny Enterprise, Oregon. Deschutes Brewery, Bend, Oregon and Kulshan Brewery, Bellingham, WA also put out consistently good quality beer.
I haven't been in BC for years even though it is less than 3 hours away, but they make some really great beer up there too.
My go-to at the Side Door Bar during Winter games.Try a nice cold Grain Belt Premium or Nordeast..
This is a great, strong IPA.
Six pack of this and I’m good..
Fantastic beerI really enjoy a Bells 2 Hearted. Even if it is from Michigan.
What do American beer and making love in a canoe have in common?Diebel’s Alt

Pumpkin beers have hit the shelves as well. I get that the fall seasonal beers are popular, but it’s early august. Does anyone actually drink them when it’s 90 out?WTF is Sam Adams Obtoberfeat doing on the gawd damn shelf already? Seriously?
...i got some.

Hell no. I like them, but have to have that chill in the air for them to taste good.Pumpkin beers have hit the shelves as well. I get that the fall seasonal beers are popular, but it’s early august. Does anyone actually drink them when it’s 90 out?
Agree with this. Theyre not my favorite but a couple in the fall when the leaves are falling makes for a nice pairing. I’m with litespeed in that I prefer an Oktoberfest, but i like some variety and again, not in the heat. Who is consuming this stuff this early? It’s beer equivalent of decorating for Christmas before Halloween.Hell no. I like them, but have to have that chill in the air for them to taste good.
You need to hit Sam’s Club & buy the huge 48 bottle boxes of Octoberfest. I bought 5 or 6 of those last year, made it to Spring but I was trying to ration them.I don't.
I like the sam adams oktoberfest...zero pumpkin i can taste..its just a yummy beer. I'd drink it year round if it was available.
Hard pass on pumpkin or christmas spice (nutmeg,, cinnamon, etc) beer. Gawd those are awful.
If you like Oktoberfest, seek out the Ayinger Oktoberfest. Best one I’ve found.I don't.

Try the Festbier from Tucher. It's real good. Their Hefeweizen is great as well.If you like Oktoberfest, seek out the Ayinger Oktoberfest. Best one I’ve found.
