Just had an inkling for Carls Jr last week, went there for the first time in years and got my favorite… Western Bacon Cheeseburger combo meal…
Cost $17……. They are dead to me now
Last time I ate thier it sucked. Mine has since closed down. Not surprised.

It was so good when they came out with thick burgers when I was a kid.

Chic-fil-a
Raising Cane

I’ve had neither but the hype can’t be real
I don’t eat fast food but my kids love Chic-fil-a so we stop there sometimes and I’ll tell you what - their service and execution is better than any fast food and it’s not close. They’re very busy and you get your order fast. Also, I have tried their waffle fries and they’re so ****ing good that I often skim more than I should from the kid’s meals.

Never tried their other stuff. The fries are amazing though.

I know we have the best Arby’s franchise right here in Omaha. Be comforted in knowing that the franchise here takes extreme attention to food quality and customer service.
Are you speaking of the location just south of 120th and Center? If so that Arby’s has been around at least 40 years. Pretty remarkable considering how people’s tastes change.

Seems like I know I'm gonna spend at least $10 or more, I gotta get something decent.

Runza is good, very consistent, pretty decent frings. Never cared for the Cheeseburgers though, that everybody else likes.
Freddy's for the Fry fix and Jalapeno fry sauce. Burgers are good, not the bomb though.

Got a friend, who 25 years ago when he Emigrated from Bulgaria. Tried fast food for the 1st time and it made him sick (BK) He swore he would never, eat fast food again and hasn't to this day. His quote "Nothing good, can come out of a window in 2 minutes and be good for you" I said clearly, you and I don't drive thru the same parts of town. Five years later, out of the blue he tells me he finally got the joke.

I hadn’t been to Dairy Queen in years, but after seeing a commercial, I decided to grab a Heath Blizzard. I asked my son if he wanted anything, and we were off.

At the drive-thru, I ordered his hot fudge sundae. The employee rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, snapping, *"I SAID WHAT SIZE?!"* Caught off guard, I replied, *"Wow, okay… small."* I then added a small Heath Blizzard to the order, only for her to yell *"W H A T SIIIIIIZE?!"* again. I calmly repeated *"Small. Thank you."*

When we pulled up, the employees were visibly arguing in the window while another just stood there. Our ice cream was sloppily made. My son, shocked by the service, called the store manager—only to be hung up on. Furious, he emailed corporate, who responded the next day saying they had repeatedly tried contacting the store with no success and would address the issue.

If you frequent the Dairy Queen on 114th & Dodge, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not around much longer.

I would of called myself, but I also thought it was nice that my son took initiative.

Good help is extremely hard to find and keep. Some of the best fast food employees I see are seasoned citizens.

Same with Cane's. Just started going the last couple months and it's usually in a time crunch. They just churn the food out. Never a delay.

Chick Filet is so overrated. It's just another chicken sandwich. They are great at Marketing and service.

Cane's does have the best chicken strips on earth for my vote.

Do 1 thing and be the best at it. Thats Canes's

Eatin at Canes once, maybe twice...if you squeeze the tenders, and catch the oil in the right container, you'll have enough to change the oil in your truck.

Monarchies are so 16th century. Burger King and Dairy Queen had a good run but society has moved forward.

Which just inspired me to start my own fast food chain… “FREEDOM BURGER”

Bronco's is still in business? My experience with a Bronco's was a noon meal during a 5-day employment for a business on 72nd St in Omaha in 1977. In 2025 we can get better food in a convenience store than I was offered that day.
ha ok i read the title of this thread--what or how am i supposed to interoperate it?

Most Burger Kings out here seem pretty dumpy but the Dairy Queen’s are excellent. On a side note there are no longer any pizza huts in Connecticut or Rhode Island and most Arby’s are going
Away as well

Hahaha yeah, I've bit on that more times than I care to admit. Most of those places spend a lot more on their food photography than they do their employee training. I swear it borders on false advertising at times. DQ is definitely one of them
