Basketball Essegian, Jacobsen come up big in Nebraska win over Arizona State

Brice Williams was his usual All-Big Ten self.

Connor Essegian scored all 17 of his points in the second half. Walk-on Cale Jacobsen, who played 74 minutes during the regular season, played 22 minutes Monday night and scored 2 points with five assists, three steals and two rebounds. He owned a plus-minus of plus-10, same as Williams.

Nebraska beat Arizona State 86-78 to advance to a quarterfinal of the College Basketball Crown Tournament in Las Vegas. Here's the recap:
