Does Wisconsin win Big Ten, head to CFP in 2018?

No, question Paul Chryst is off to a strong start back in his hometown and at his alma mater. He is 34-7 in his first 3 seasons back home, after 19-20 at Pitt. They are 22-4 in regular B1G games.

DC Jim Leonard is back too! He is entering his 3rd season as a coach, 2nd as DC. They play a wicked 3-4.

In 2017, they won 13 straight and 9-0 in B1G for the first time in program history.

In 2016, the lost back to back games at Michigan and against Urban and Ohio State.

In 2015, both games were in Madison, but lost B1G opener to Iowa, then Northwestern finished them off prior to Gopher game, where they now have won 14 straight.

Three toughest games are on the road and I think they win 2 of the three...

Maybe they get upset in game we thought they should have won...

Badgers finish 10-2 and win the West.

Cute report, don't have a clue why you would post this on a Husker board.

Sets-up well. Non-con is a joke. I doubt they lose, show-down with the East, winner to the Playoffs.

Probably the best opportunity for Wisky to win a Natty considering what they have coming back.

I don't see a loss on that schedule.

10-2 would be a huge disappointment.

That may be but they could very easily lose on the road against either Iowa, Michigan and Penn St and slip up against some one else and even if they don’t I think they at least lose in Happy Valley..

Other than LSU back-to-back a couple years ago, looks like Barry has dialed 1-800-Creampuff for quite some time for non-conference scheduling. I see them going 10-2.

2 of 3 losses to Michigan, Penn State or Nebraska. Take your pick.

I’ll be shock and do cartwheels if Nebraska upsets Wisconsin in Madison this year.

Ha! Good call if you are looking at Vegas (over-under is 10 O (-120).

So Vegas says, they more likely win 11, but the line isn't 10.5, so pretty even-up odds at 10-2.

Guess that means I should bet the over. Push at 10. 9-3 is a loser. Hard to imagine that happening. Maybe Wisky's defense is suspect?

Lol no chance they win the BIG and they're never making it to the CFB playoff. Look at what OSU did to them in the title game last year; they couldn't even move the football against that defense. Stack the box, blitz Horny every down and run a spread O and they get wrecked.

They'll go 9-3 this year.

You don't see a loss on their schedule? Really?

Nope, but Vegas does apparently.

The only thing I hate about season props is how long you have to wait. Off-shore books scare me in the first place.

Bet the over 10.

I'm already on the under. Getting a push at worst. No way they win over 10.

I would go as far as saying I think we have a better chance of beating Wisconsin than we do Michigan. People seem to forget that Michigan lost 43 seniors at the end of the 2017 season. Harbaugh has already loaded UM with incoming talent with 2 years of top 15 recruiting classes.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if we beat Wisconsin, however I would celebrate with cartwheels too. They lost Troy Fumagalli and they lost 2 of their top Linebackers. Yes they return 9 of 11 on offense but they are still pretty vanilla offensively if you can hold Jonathon Taylor to 150 yards rushing. Michigan, Penn State, Iowa and Nebraska are all capable of beating them.

It’s much more difficult to win in Madison than Ann Arbor and facts back that statement up since we joined the B1G....

I like our chances in Ann Arbor maybe it’s just De’ja’ Vu thing I have since Devaney went into Michigan and beat them in 1962.

No.

No. They lose 8 key starters on D that received some level of all conference honors.

I think they probably lose 1 or 2 at most. Should waltz through the West this year.

You also have to acquire the talent OSU has to execute that plan or else you end up like the other 13 teams that lost to Wisky, including Miami (much more talented on paper that pretty much the entire B1G except OSU).

UW held OSU to 6 second half pts too Winking

No. They will lose 3 this year in the regular season: Michigan, Penn State, and someone else.

I'm not convinced Paul chryst is that good of a coach, he inherited a boat load of decent talent, ill reserve judgment 10 years down the road. So far Wisconsin hasn't been able to recruit elite athletes so really good ones yes. if they win the west they'll lose to the winner of east

They'll probably get to the B1G Championship, then lose to the East team.

Gotta give old Barry some props they have had as much turnover with the head coach as we have and haven't missed a beat yet
