In 1999, he became just the fifth Husker offensive lineman and third center to earn first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore, and the first Husker center to be so honored as a sophomore since Rimington in 1980. Raiola led the team with a then-school-record 140 pancakes in 12 games, averaging 11.67 per game. His total and average bettered Aaron Taylor's 135 pancakes and 11.64 per game average in 1997, the year Taylor won the Outland Trophy.

He is talking about Mike Bobo the new OC at Georgia who was OC /QB coach when Stafford was at Georgia.

He was just hired this year back to Georgia but as o stated he was Staffords OC and QB coach, and Stafford who obviously played with Dom at the Lions gave Bobo a glowing Recommendation.on how he developed him at Georgia.
Bobo was the QB coach then OC when Stafford was at UGA and Stafford has been very vocal about how well Bobo developed him and prepped him for the NFL, especially with the pro style offense we ran. Stafford has been in Raiola's ear about this as well for some time.
Bobo is now back as the OC/QB coach and the Raiola's are actuslly bigger fans of his than Monken as Monken didnt put in the time with recruits to build relationships like Bobo does. They are quite happy with the change. Monken ran a pro style offense with more spread concepts built in but the NFL has shifted that way as well.
I firmly believe, based on what we have heard, that Dylan will be coming to UGA. Having Bobo here and the OC has only enhanced those odds. However 18 year old kids are impressionable, so I wouldnt rule out USC or Nebraska entirely until pen meets paper.

Appreciate this insight, this explains a lot and shows how important it is to weigh everything before deciding. If DR chooses Georgia, I for one, won’t be calling him disingenuous or pulling a fast one on his uncle. For the life of me, I don’t get why some husker fans feel this way.

No problem! We had many a UGA fan feel the same way about Justice Haynes, our legacy elite recruit, going to Bama just this past year. Many feel legacies are a sure thing but in today's world of pressure from everywhere, kids want to blaze their own trial sometimes....It also didn't help that one of our staffers/analysts made a pass at his mom which angered their camp, lol.

Hey, take it easy on Matthew. I think he finished 2nd in the division once. Using Matt Stafford as a reason to go to Georgia is basically an argument for him to go to NU. He's proof you don't have to win championships to be a high draft pick.
And Mike Bobo, not sure that is the coach I would be bragging on if I was a Georgia fan. He was the OC back when we were playing each other in bowl games. Then he left and stunk it up literally everywhere he went.
