Both movies feature a depressed sad sack who is going nowhere in life due to being a giant p*ssy. They have a best friend that is the alpha male version they wish they were in every way. The end features both sad sacks disposing of their imaginary alpha male personality and taking charge of their own life. Both movies are owning your own life. Quit letting others direct you around and telling you what to do and buy.
