Tough loss for Nebraska, felt like there were a couple opportunities to win this but Alabama just kept fighting back and finally pulled away last week. He makes it official today, committing to the Crimson Tide.

This makes landing Christian Jones all the more important, and with Merritt now off the board, three-star linebacker Will Hawthorne is certainly a take and the staff will look to overcome hometown Iowa State there
