Would rather see them playing on Sundays.
I hope they can breakthrough this season and next. Last year was a lost year with the Diaco disaster... but they haven't quite reached the levels that we thought they would be at by now. Hopefully this attacking style will benefit their development.
Carlos and Khalil compete in the West Regional this weekend. Top 12 throwers advance to Eugene. Khalil sits at 13th in the West Region and Carlos at 15th. Nic Percy is the top discus thrower for NU and has the best throw in the West Region and is second nationally.
Very impressive. We knew they were excellent athletes coming in. As another poster said, hopefully we have a coach and a scheme that will allow them to reach their true potential!

Article on Carlos. He's seeded sixth at Nationals. Pepin thinks he'd compete for the discus title if he only concentrated on T&F. Percy thinks the new S&C regime has helped Carlos' throwing. Pepin wants Jurgens to throw and is psyched about Frost's focus on recruiting speedy guys. Would like help in the sprints as well.
