I sure hope this is true. If we have an elite, or at least very good rushing attack DR is gonna kill teams with the play action. (passing game in general) Punish them with the run, then let DR execute them with the pass.

I'm sorry but that explanation for not playing the Spring Game seems to be a case of the staff just not wanting to play it and choosing the best excuse that the fans are most likely to buy. I won't lose sleep over it, but it's annoying.

I cannot believe that, after the efforts of Rhule and his staff on the recruiting trail to get the program back on the tracks, that you could come up with this theory. Rhule has proven he will do anything to promote his program to the fullest benefit.

Maybe they will have a full scale scrimmage and invite fans to buy a ticket. That would be good. Just make sure that it isn't televised. If it's just watching a practice would be a pass for me.

There is no window of time now where coaches can protect a roster. And until it's clear that signed contracts need to be honored, the former will be the status quo.
