I fell into a bit of a rabbit hole this morning when trying to see what Marcus Fleming's track times were. I think I've seen some comments from some time ago talking about how Marcus ran a 10.38 100m and like 21.11 200m, but those are his brother's Da'Marcus's times who is a track star. Marcus is obviously still extremely fast but I can't even find his track times (on a roster I saw, he wasn't even on it, so not sure he even runs track). @Matt Reynoldson I saw your comment about him being one of fastest kids in Florida, and I'm pretty sure it was the brother's times you saw; just as an FYI. Not trying to call you out.
Anyways, for geeks like me I found it interesting given their similar names and the apparent confusion it caused. Doesn't take anything away from Marcus Fleming at all, and that isn't the point. I just think a lot of people have reported his track times incorrectly. Twitter thread including Ronald Delancy where they confirmed that was correct earlier in year:
