Nebraska is home to not only the world champ, pound for pound number 1 in the sport, but someone that is attempting what Mayweather, Ali, Foreman, and other greats couldn't achieve, and you don't hear anything.

Boxing did this to itself. I'm not paying PPV to watch boxing. So my interest reflects that.
Will always root for a Nebraskan athlete but the stories I've heard about his kids and their behaviors make me cringe. One of many reasons I'm glad I'm not teaching in OPS

Back before we had 10 different all sports channels, ABC Wide World of Sports and CBS Sports Spectacular gave us a variety of sports with plenty of boxing. And people paid attention. Now boxing gets more coverage than ever but who in the hell is watching? And then I've also heard it said that boxing and wrestling were the most popular sports in the early days of TV since it was so easy to view on those small black & white TV sets.
I hope this schedule holds true and the fight happens. We have a fight party out in the country every time Bud fights. Always a blast. This will be the biggest party yet
I agree, theres weight divisions for a reason. Crawford is right up there in best pound for pound but thats a huge jump. Crawford isn't that big of a guy, not sure why he'd put his undefeated record on the line.

Putting boxing on PPV has led to less interest in the sport, IMO. That is what I'm saying.
Until you get a regular broadcast partner willing to commit to the sport along with minimizing promoters control, it ain't happening.
It isn't the boxers fault here it's the game they have to play.
I just want to say I likely agree with you more than you think, however I'm not going to stand on my nuts to make a point when a Nebraska champ needs our support.
