This is my complete conspiracy theory, I think when Trev was hired he knew Frost needed to be replaced. Unfortunately for him he knew there would be too much heat if he came in and fired Frost. Even though most football fans could see it would be completely warranted. So he cleverly reduces the buyout, tries to help Frost out by making him act like a major D1 football coach and hiring a better staff. Trev probably knows that this is a throw away year. If you haven't won in year 4, the chances of winning in year 5 are slim to none. We saw it again yesterday the same problems are still there. What this year allows Trev to do is start analyzing who would be a good coach to hire and then at the end of the year fire Frost and have his replacement ready.
