Frost obviously wasn't up for the job and Rhule seems to have a much greater appreciation for what Nebraska is all about and espouses those values way better than Frost ever did.

Trev seemed to be doing a decent job, but obviously was all talk when it came to his loyalty to the Huskers and we now know he was looking to leave more or less from the start. Dannen says this is a special place and he wants this to be his last job.

Sounds like he agreed to a really big buyout clause, so that would suggest he wants to stay.

Nobody knows how it will turn out. We will all just have to see his leadership actions over time. He wasn't at Washington long enough to have a track record there. Rhule thinks he was good at a much smaller school for a long stay but small schools had much different issues than for big schools in today's rapidly changing environment. So we just have to trust the selection process at this point.

Good point. If people were totally honest, for once I would like to have someone say something like, "I'm glad to be here at SMU. I think this will be one hell of a stepping stone on my career journey!"

No . He wants to improve it but he talked more about NIL in his first months than Trev did in his entire tenure.
