This is not a debate though. CFB is better now. Period. Better for the players. Better for the fans. Better.

I would not have watched a lame ass Indiana vs ND "bowl game" this season. But I was ****ing happy to watch Indiana get beat up by ND in a playoff game!
College football is better because of the move to the playoff system, not because players get to jump ship anytime they want and hold NIL over coaches heads.

the sec and b10 are openly colluding to fix a multi billion dollar industry with the support of media powers espn and fox. insane indeed. it's hard to imagine this is happening in today's world.

this will ultimately result in government action. legislators from north carolina and florida to oregon and washington are not going to allow their university sports to fail. i would imagine trump will weigh in at some point.
Of course he will, but as a "Money takes precedence over everything else kind of guy," I seriously doubt he will have a problem with conferences, teams, players making as much money as they possibly can, while shafting others.

Very few true conservatives left. Just a bunch of people who spread hate but spend money like liberals. Watch this play out. If this administration was even one tiny bit serious about reducing spending they wouldn't let the debt ceiling be used against them. But it looks like they already are. Because they aren't fiscally conservative.
Right. It's not about saving money. It's about taking it from one entity and giving it to another.

Infact here is an example.

Negotiate better Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. In Fiscal Year 2023, the DoD spent$440.7 billion on contracts.14 Inspector General reports have found contractors regularly hikeprices for the military, including overcharging the Air Force by 7,493 percent for soapdispensers15 and requiring the Army to pay $71 for a pin that should have cost less than anickel.16 I introduced the bipartisan Stop Price Gouging the Military Act to close loopholes inacquisition laws that make it nearly impossible for DoD to obtain the data they need to negotiatefair deals.17 Congress should immediately pass this bill.
