I've confirmed with a source close to Keyshawn Johnson Jr. that at this point in time he is no longer part of the Nebraska football program.
I'm told that Johnson Jr. will be taking somewhat of a leave of absence from the team right now, but the door is open for his return next January assuming he has taken care of a few requirements prior to that time. I'm unsure what the exact conditions are for his return, but was assured that the door is open for it to happen.
I'm told that Johnson Jr. is already back in Los Angeles and will be working out and most likely taking classes online or at a Junior College this fall.
