Well, to be fair, for deion it is about sales, not coaching, he said as much, and that's what CU needs, ticket sales and marketing. That's what they will get for a year or 2, and when everyone gets tired of it, Neon will move on, and it will be some somebody's fault it didn't work out, but definitely not his.
Sounds short sighted to me. When Sanders leaves in 2 years or less, the sales will return to the pre-Sanders level. So you have a boon then back to normal shitty sales.

I said we didn't have a ton of talent. It's also not why we lost so much. Both statements can be true. We had similar talent the previous 2 years. Went to the Alamo bowl 2 years prior and won 3 conference games last year. Talent shortage yes but not why we lost so much. Oregon State is a good example. Won enough to go bowling the last 2 years despite not having much talent (certainly not much beyond CU).

I feel like any interest will fade so fast. I have been out there during the season, not when NU was playing them, and a lot of the bars didn't even have the CU game on, like, no one cared or knew if they were playing.

The answer is no. You also barely see any true Colorado fans. They’ll have bandwagon ones for sure now, but most don’t give a ****.

This is Colorado football and their fans in a nutshell-- last time we were there the stadium was 3/4 Nebraska fans. After the game, CU students were running out of their dorms yelling at us. They hadn't even been to the game. They just hate Nebraska because we're still a blue blood and they are nothing.

LOL at comparing coaches who won 4 National Championships to a grifter who couldn't beat North Carolina Central...I can't stop laughing....your coach had the highest rated recruits in FCS history and couldn't even beat some school called North Carolina Central....but I'm sure the Jackson State Buffaloes are going to come in and beat Utah, USC, Oregon, Washington, UCLA.
Imagine if Jackson State actually had to play against good FCS teams, or even average FCS teams, instead of SWAC and MEAC programs.
