Not sure I'd want him coordinating my run game D, but I'm glad to see he landed. Seems like a good dude.
he was directly the problem...awful defense 4/5 years he was hereGood for him - he wasn't the problem.
Erik is a good guy. Glad he landed in a nice job.Good for him. I've got no beef with any of the assistant coaches that were here over the last 4 years.
He was a big part f the problem. Good guy. Bad DC. Pretty telling on how he landed.Good for him - he wasn't the problem.
Probably from 800K to maybe 200K-250K?He was a big part f the problem. Good guy. Bad DC. Pretty telling on how he landed.
Yep, it's very telling that he ends up as a co-coordinator at a program that's been better than nebraska the last 15 years or so.He was a big part f the problem. Good guy. Bad DC. Pretty telling on how he landed.
His defenses were porous and that's putting it nicely.Good for him - he wasn't the problem.
He’s a Boise State and took a big pay cut. EVERYBODY has been better than us with him as our DC.Yep, it's very telling that he ends up as a co-coordinator at a program that's been better than nebraska the last 15 years or so.
What's it telling though.
I'm sure he'll be ok, making 300k per year. He’s a Boise State and took a big pay cut. EVERYBODY has been better than us with him as our DC.
I have to disagree, the offense was the issue.he was directly the problem...awful defense 4/5 years he was here
It was a combo of things of course but Chins couldn't even stop GA southern for piss sakes. stop it. Also he had all summer to prepare for terrible Northwestern offense and they scored more on us than any other team in 2022...I have to disagree, the offense was the issue.
very accomplished passive aggresive scheme for sureAn aggressive defensive scheme. Really? Sure you don't want to be passive?
😂😂😂😂. Aggressive..😂😂😂Not sure I'd want him coordinating my run game D, but I'm glad to see he landed. Seems like a good dude.
Frost was the issue.I have to disagree, the offense was the issue.
Reduced our obligationProbably from 800K to maybe 200K-250K?
Boise State isn't what they used to be. They have slipped into mediocrity.I'm sure he'll be ok, making 300k per year.
Is Boise St considered a bad place to coach all of the sudden?
With the right personnel, his Defense was pretty good. Unfortunately not all of his Defenses were made up of 6 year Seniors."aggressive style defense" lmao
What the hell?I hope he does real well at Boise. I bet its a real relief for him to get away from all the crucifiers at Nebraska who would turn on their very own. They were ready to filet him and anyone else who didn't bring them a win. I hope he runs his exotic defenses like he did at UCF where he was a very successful coach.
Honestly, WTF? He absolutely does NOT coach an aggressive style. Whatever…"aggressive style defense" lmao
He will love living in Boise (Boy see not Boy zee) The Stadium is nice but small, 30,000 seats. Nice campus along the Boise River that everyone paddle boards and floats. Boise has a cool downtown. The real estate market is one of the most overpriced in the country. Since Covid there has been a deluge of new people moving in. Good climate, similar to what I have. May get a little too hot in the summer for some, but can drive a couple of hours to towns like McCall and Sun Valley for cooler temps. The drive to Salt Lake City is under 5 hours. I will be going through there this February on my way to Sun Valley and Snowbasin. Chin was in Eugene with the Ducks so the Boise State head coach was either one of his players or fellow coaches.
You should go with him.I hope he does real well at Boise. I bet it’s a real relief for him to get away from all the crucifiers at Nebraska who would turn on their very own. His cost of living just skyrocketed as well, hopefully he pinched his pennies in LincolnProbably from 800K to maybe 200K-250K?
Well, I guess that's a good place to rehab...Boise State isn't what they used to be. They have slipped into mediocrity.
