I have a hard time believing that. The guy hasn't played in the NFL in what, 7 years? Harbaugh chose a team with Herbert bit wants Kappernick too. That would be weird. I heard maybe as some kind of coach, which would make more sense than a player.

I guess unless he thinks he can backup Herbert and won't need to play, at least for a while.
