If this list is correct, it looks like we are only losing 1 OL and a LS after this season. Gives us some time to get some more OT.
Exactly people have to realize you have to keep your roster balanced, you can’t sign 5 OL every year.
Man talk about the potential for a great/shitty lunch today!
This means that we have to cut the dead weight to the tune of about 13-14 guys. I like it. When a program is rebuilding and can’t land a ton of 4 stars you take lots of guys then cut the dead weight. Good strategy the first couple years IMO.
Edit: meaning additional underclassmen
Going to be a much different group of young stud WRs waiting in the wings for next season. Betts, Coleman, IGC should be leading that pack
with the portal the strategy is to get as many guys as you can and then cut those who can't make it and then get portal guys. With NIL and kids getting paid there should be fewer hard feelings when a school tells you to go to the portal if you want to play bc you're not good enough to play here.
But with h.s. kids the schools might be locked into a scholarship for 4 years if the player doesn't want to leave.
