It looks like Williams is making it happen on the recruiting trail. Man, I would hate to try and keep 18 year olds in the fold. Good job, coach!
My bad....I thought I heard on 590 they said he was in. Oops...
HuskerDana this goes right up there with "Dewey Defeats Truman!"
You will never live this down. lol.
Yeah, I was saying the same thing yesterday.Earlier this week I gave the kid credit for this being a tough decision and to cut him some slack, but when you silent commit and then pull a different hat when the cameras are on, then you back off of that commitment and five days ago commit to Nebraska (which was completely unnecessary) and then two days later tweet that signing day is the only day that matters, then you flip again to another school, I say we don't want you.
To say "signing day is the only day that matters" is to completely disregard the value of your word. He is not the type of character Riley and crew are bringing on board and in this case, there is addition through subtraction.
No character at all.
Agreed!I will have to take what is coming to me.....lol.
Maybe this will be good news on the Joseph Lewis speculation....
As far as I'm concerned, he was never committed to us. A long time ago I came up with a rule that a player should be committed for at least 2 weeks for a commitment to count.Earlier this week I gave the kid credit for this being a tough decision and to cut him some slack, but when you silent commit and then pull a different hat when the cameras are on, then you back off of that commitment and five days ago commit to Nebraska (which was completely unnecessary) and then two days later tweet that signing day is the only day that matters, then you flip again to another school, I say we don't want you.
