Was on the phone when 1620 was talking about him, but thought they said recruiting experts say the Tigers (I assume Clemson) is the leader for him now?

Yes. Per Recruiting Director of 247 his source claims Bookie is now a Clemson lean. My thoughts, even if Riley is retained...Bookie is going elsewhere.

Only goes to show that the argument that we need to keep Riley so this class does not fall apart is nonsense. Given our losses on the field this class was not going to hold together anyway. These guys were sold on the blackshirt tradition, throwing the bones, "come here and we will build something great together" propaganda. But now they can see it is all smoke and mirrors and bullshit. They see that coming to NU means being made to look like a fool on national TV against the big boys

Pennsy - dang it man, you need to step away from the computer and take a deep breath. Too much time on your hands and not lambing season yet I suppose. Chill dude, it will all be better or not and either way - we can't do a thing about it!

hahaha. Truer words were never spoken.
But it is the Fall lambing season. We do the lamb thing twice a year. In fact, I was out in the pasture this afternoon helping a ewe deliver triplets. But I was still obsessed with posting on here from my iPad. My iPad even has stupid ewe ass blood stains on it now. Gross. YUCK.

I need help. RollingLaugh

Was she a Dear Ol' Nebraska Ewe?

But not Parrella. Eternal pass, we have been over this. The line should not be expected to do anything more than get single blocked straight back multiple yards (we have been over this, and are all in agreeement)
This should not be surprising. After all, Parrella was hired by Mike Riley.

I don't blame guys like Bookie and Josh Moore for exploring their options. Too much uncertainty with the coaching staff right now.

The part that makes me laugh is some blaming our record for the recruits looking. They have already made it dead clear that our record did NOT matter and they’d still come. But only if Riley was the coach. It’s as simple as that. They want to play for Riley and all this talk of Frost and firing Riley has our recruits checking other places. Sorry but it has nothing to do with our record at all.

The day Eichorst was fired it raised a red flag with all of our recruits. Out of our 11 current recruits, about 4 or 5 will probably stick around if he is fired. Now, I'm not advocating keeping Riley because of a few recruits, I'm just stating facts. Quite a few players commit to a coach and not a school.

Our football program reminds me of the old Soviet Union that constantly implemented new five year plans —and they were just about as successful as we have been in the past fifteen years. I don’t doubt Riley needs to go but anyone thinking Frost will be winning championships in the next five years has been hitting the Stolichnaya too hard.

Where is the link for the all of our recruits saying that record does not matter. I asked before but nothing was ever provided.

Don't worry. Tommy-Boy AD fixed the walk-on program and we will be good to go next year. Loaded with white kids who play harder than the "others" (IE: the Cali kids Jason Peter blames)

There have been some interviews with recruits after their visits and some have said that the outcome of the games don't really affect their thinking as far as recruiting goes. Basically that they can see the staffs vision for the program. Nate Clouse has said as much a few times on RSS. Not so much about their record that I have seen. I don't have a link as there were some interviews after the Wisconsin and OSU games and I'm too lazy to find them.

Well certainly the whole Calibraska time and effort paid off.

Josh Moore said it in one of his Journals. I haven’t seen anyone else say it.

Why do we need ANY recruits? Walk-ons is the solution, you have driven that "point" home.
