I guess I'm not sure what point you are making. I think we are in agreement that risky behavior catches up to you no matter what the circumstances are.

My point is that our society as a whole wants to not have to have the consequences of their actions. No matter if they are risky or not. Everything is viewed as equal and the Same by far too many people.

Hoosker, I am not discussing the merits of bull fighting.

Your OP was not a picture of a dead bull run through with a sword and you lamenting the cruelty of humanity, it was a clip of a person being gored to death with your and others enthusiastic approval and stated desire that people like him die in like manner. Although, in fairness you did attempt to walk-back that comment.

It was this crass reaction alone to which I responded but then you know that just don't have the courage to address it.

Your attempt to make this about bull fighting and/or its cruelty or the animals intelligence or human morality is nothing more than a red herring diversion.

My thought process is perfectly sound I am merely following your argument:

Your argument then explicitly stated is bull fighting is "stupid shit" so he deserves death for his act.

I then conclude that selfies on the edge of a cliff are also "stupid shit" thus she deserves death for her act.

You created the link between the two issues (bull fighters get what they deserve and stupid shit gets what they deserve) not me its your logic not mine, flawed indeed.

As previously stated I agree that behaviors have consequences, I just don't cheer when people die facing them.

I'm sure you would see it that way.

Go Blue!

I really think you need to take a break from these boards. You act as if debating on a message board is something you can put on your resume. "Argued the merits of the 4-3 defense vs the 3-4, Feb 2008 - Nov 2013."

"Red Herring???" Get an f'ing life, for God sakes. Yes, oh yes...I have this complex plan of diverting your attention to something else because I feel you're seeing through my other argument. Yes, this internet stuff is serious business. Are you f'ing for real?!

It's your problem that you are trying to make a parallel between slowly killing an animal for entertainment purposes and a lady taking a selfie falling off a cliff, not mine. Bravo on remaining steadfast on such sensible pursuits.

The guy got what he deserved. If you want to think I'm celebrating his demise, that's fine. I don't care. He is just another of the 500+ other idiots that have died over the many years of torturing these animals to death. Nothing more than that to me. There are many other people through history that have died doing much more honorable things than making a living off of Spain's bloodlust.

Again, not sure why he deserved to die?

Did he deserve to get injured? Sure. But to actually die? Come on....

OK, let me clarify, so we can finally put this stupid fking thread to rest. If a person steps in the ring with an angry 1,200 lb. animal, he/she deserves what they get. The only thing that determines whether he lives or dies if he gets gored is luck. If someone decides to step in the ring given those variables, then yes, they get what they deserve.

Edit: This isn't complicated. There are 500+ other idiots that can be researched before stepping into the ring. If you do so knowing full well that a bull has the strength to pierce any part of your body with his horns, and do substantial damage, then you deserve what you get.

Per your edit. So he deserved to die because he wasn't smart enough to be in the bull pin?

Goes back to someone falling off a cliff because they went beyond the marked trail and tried taking a selfie. Many others were able to accomplish a selfie without dying, so I guess the person who fell deserved it....
