Bucknuts favored by 6 over the Hoiskers

Thoughts on Grinnell at this point? There were some naysayers when he transferred. This team may not have the individual talent the last 3 years have had.....but there is less " me,me,me"
They’re a Division III powerhouse! :)

this made me laugh

the last sentence also applies to putting together a competitive roster

Does the win still count as quad 1 if Creighton craps the bed? Is it only based on when they played?

No, it depends only on where they finish. Jays looking pretty strong the last few times out. They'll be quad 1 no doubt.

Keep positive as long as you can..
Hey look, it’s the whiney old illiterate guy, who thinks mods don’t laugh at him every time he reports things. Quit following me around already, creeper

Are you seriously so mentally incapacitated that you can’t figure out you constantly follow me around? Is your memory as bad as your reading comprehension and spelling ability? You came looking for it (again), and now want to play poor, poor, pathetic, illiterate victim.

Hopefully your family gets you some pudding and meds. None of that made any sense, and you can save your fake platitudes. Sorry for using such big words, maybe get your poor nurse to explain them to you.

Which is fine part of being a fan of both teams is wanting both to have success. Hopefully Creighton gets the ship righted. It helps Nebraskas strength of schedule as well. Win win
It’s not, congrats on getting the board ruhtard to agree with you. Really drives your point home

What on earth are you talking about? We are both Husker fans here. Miss me with the childish insults towards others.
I’m a Husker fan. That’s the only accurate part of your post.

Hey guys. I really like the White Sox, but when they aren’t good I wear my Cubs gear. It’s just the neatest

I get the "idea" of liking them both but that all falls flat once they play each other because at that point you clearly have to hope one wins, which means that is the team you are actually a fan of.

8 more to hit the bubble
No harm in dreaming a little. In fact, the last time NU made the NCAA Tournament, they were 10-9 overall, and 3-5 in league play. Then, they got very hot, beginning with a home win over Ohio State on Jan. 20th. They went 10-3 from there, playing their way into the NCAA Tournament.

8 more wins in the regular season would definitely put them on the bubble. It would definitely let them avoid that damn Wednesday game in the B1G tournament. Maybe be at a point where 1 win in the B1G tournament gets them in.

Like I said....no harm in dreaming a little.

That's how I am. I like Creighton, attend their games every now and then, watch em on TV some. But...I don't wear any of their apparel ever, wore red to the game this year, and rooted only for us.

In looking at the remaining schedule, to get to 8 more wins before the B1G tournament the Huskers need to finish 8-4. That pretty much means beating Penn State (road/home), Northwestern (home), and Minnesota (home) -- then go 4-4 against the rest of their schedule. There are only 3 of 8 home games (Maryland, Wisconsin, and Michigan State). I can see Maryland and Wisconsin as potential wins at home so that means we need to steal 2 wins on the road. Like our chances on the road with Maryland and Rutgers and definitely Iowa in the final regular season game (because we all know they suck). The next few weeks will be pretty critical. Need to go 4-1 up to the Michigan game on February 8 or it is NIT / CBI. At this point, I would take either of tournaments.

I refuse to get sucked in again! Haha. I’ve been hurt too many times!

Just curious who do you want to win when Huskers and Crayton play?
I try not to watch because it's not fun at all but the team that needs it more would be the default. It's not that deep. Grew up in omaha so Creighton was always easier to go to games. I was back in omaha over the holidays. Went to the Christmas Day game vs DePaul then went to the Iowa game a few days later. Also went to Indiana at Kansas. Had never been to Phog before. Pretty cool place. I like sports and the last thing I will do is worry about who strangers root for. Plenty of room. Complete side note.... Going to North Carolina at Duke on Feb 4. Always wanted to see that game in that venue.

So if Rutgers loses at Michigan State, does that mean the B1G will have only one team in the Top 25?

The sportswriter/talking head alums better step it up.
