I think too much is being made of this. Maybe this was a normally scheduled light work day? Are they supposed to change their schedule so they can strut around like a bunch of roosters? I think Riley knows what he's doing and will concede to his decision making.

I quess will find out threw out the season how physical we will be won't we.

We'll be able too see for ourselves if this is truth or famine won't you say.

successful season for us. He missed the obvious come back that we won one in 2015. I was surprised by his comments, he was mostly negative.

I wonder who will be closer.

Gerry Dinardo, who says winning a bowl game will be a successful season for Nebraska.
OR
Mike Riley, who has a winning percentage of 99/87=.532 since 1997?

Frankly, I don't understand the "winning a bowl game" comment. It only takes 6 wins to get to a bowl. If we go 6-6 and win a bowl game, is that a successful season.

How about going 12-0 and losing the bowl game? Is that an unsuccessful season.

Combining both, sounds like Gerry would consider 7-6 with a bowl win, a successful season AND would be right around MR's win % since 1997.

For the record, I've slotted us for an 8-4 season(not including bowl game).
