Back at it this afternoon at Fowler Park as the Huskers (0-2) look to get their first win of the season against San Diego (2-0) who used a two-run eighth inning to take a 5-3 victory last night.
It's the debut of Husker freshman pitcher Caleb Clark as he takes the mound and will become the 10th true freshman to make a start on opening weekend. The left-hander will take on Ivran Romero (4-4, 2.53 ERA, 3 SV) who makes the transition over from the bullpen.
