if you were running it, you would consider the job and program very special as well. he's done some good stuff. and i'm sure "special" refers in large part to the youngsters and coaches who have matriculated at iowa.

In 2000 I_wa went undefeated in the B1G but lost at home to Iowa St. Must have been a down year for the B1G.

In 2004 I_wa lost one B1G game to Michigan. They lost 44-7 to AZ St. In a sign of things to come they beat PSU 6-4.

Two very impressive B1G championship seasons.
