Does this kid have any potential as sort of a backstop DT for Parella to go to?

fleck cutting lose loose a lot of the kids he did not recruit. did the same at western michigan

Are these commits from W. Michigan better than what is already committed to Minnesota? I guess I just assumed they wouldn't be, but I could easily be wrong.

That would be like Riley taking commits from OrSU when he came to NU.

Minnesota fans will hate it because the recruits weren't good enough for big boy football before the coaching change, so now the new coach is just settling for lower rated players because he is too lazy to recruit his first 3 weeks on the job to finish off a recruiting class.

:D

I am sure a team of MAC caliber players is going to be a recipe for success in the Big Ten. I don't care that they stayed within a touchdown of a disinterested Wisconsin team.

We were told by Archie that our staff didn't want this kid, so it probably means nothing to us on the recruiting front.
Hope he lands somewhere good.

He wasn't a plan A for sure. He might come in handy though if we lose a DT or just need a dev guy.

Claey's recruiting class was ranked at or near the bottom of the B1G. Flecks recruits coming with him are rated higher than Claey's recruits. I don't think Minnesota fans will hate that.

well when he took the minnesota job western michigan had a higher ranked recruiting class

That was not his only D1 offer!!!
Your anger toward the staff at Nebraska should start with Kenny Wilhite and John Parrella in relation to your butthurt over Kittrell.
All you bloners cried that Brasfield was not good enough for a local recruiter. Now they gave you 2 local "Nebraska" guys that supposedly know what it takes to recruit and play here.
Where is your anger and tantrums towards those 2? Good lord your narrative is so transparent. Can you try (at least once) to be consistent?

I believe bomber was attempting to deflate the "he should walk on here" crowd.

I'm not mad they didn't offer Kitrell ! I'm correcting statements that Minnesota was his only D1 offer, that's it. He has at least three others that I know of.

Now that we've offered the Lincoln kid, is Kitrell on the outside looking in?
