Bigger embarrassment: Losing to U of I or Letting RB run for 400 yrds?

Loss Is A Loss.
worst part being these coaches seem to just be shooting for a little better. its insane to me that anyone gets praise when losing to u of illi.
CAN WE PLEASE START SHOOTING FOR PERFECTION AGAIN???
its to the point
I Have To Question If Shutouts And Blowouts Are Ever Happening Here Again!
And Tommy Still Has The Bo Attitude, Maybe Thats Why He Makes Horrible Decisions Under Pressure...
geesh... what was that today?
he might aswell have said screw the fans.

408. A rushing performance for the ages, against a coach who had seven years to build his team--to build his defense to specification.

We're five games in to the Riley era. New schemes, battered personnel, clear depth issues, etc. This Illinois loss was brutal to watch, but there's no comparing the two. I'm not aboard the Riley train yet, but time will lend perspective.

The Playoff Committee, composed of some of the brightest minds in the sport, won't even release initial rankings until the 10th week of the season. Our data set is laughably far from complete. This season is FAR from over.

This is a bizarre question to even ask.

Not really when considering the fact that it comes from a troll that isn't very good at his job.

35-0 at the end of the first quarter, in Norman, on ESPN.
That was not a fun Saturday night. 3 turnovers in the first five minutes for Joey Ganz. Ouchie.

And as long as we're talking about ass-whoopings, how about the 76 points Todd Reesing and Kansas hung on us in '07. Did I really just type 76 points? Yep, 76 points.:(

The Callahan blow outs were brutal. 76 against Kansas, 70 vs. Texas Tech.

Bo's were so much worse. I know the thread was Ill vs. 408. But, 52-17 under the lights at home vs mizzou, the ou depantsing, 8 turnovers vs. isu, 6-9 debacle at aTm, the first Michigan and Wisconsin games, 63-38 at the shoe, and 70-31 to a 6-5 3rd place team in a championship game, all left me feeling worse than Ill. And still, all seem to pale in comparison to 408.

That is a list of total incompetence and embarrassment.

Giving up the 400 yards and NCAA record was way worse in my opinion. Thank god for kansas football sucking so bad the following week to remove the word "Nebraska" from the column showing which inept garbage team gave up that record.
