Big 12 and SEC aren't that good in basketball. They are a fantasy in their own minds. But just like in politics, if you keep telling a lie many people fall for it. SEC shouldn't have had two out of Final Four in football either but when TV cronies keep proclaiming their dominance over and over it has an effect. When SEC teams lose it is because their league is so tough and balanced and when they win it is something no one else could have accomplished. I t is all hogwash but it works.

Don't bring football into this....the SEC is far and away the dominant conference in football, but they are garbage in basketball.
