Big Bama OT N!! Official

Mixed feelings on this one... any dude who knowingly infects a chick like he did is a douche I wouldn't normally want anything to do with. Asmit I don't know the deets, maybe it isnt as bad as it sounds, but on the surface, not my kind of guy.
It’s possible he didn’t think he was contagious after starting a treatment. With the games some prosecutors play we might not know the whole story. I have to trust that our staff did their due diligence.

You mean like every frat dude or sorority chick ever? A third of the country should be locked up then as there's at least that many actively carrying STDs.

And why is that? People, especially in the media, have been saying this. And over time, it's gone from being talked about as a need to now it's a serious need in the minds of many. But nobody says why. We've got some tackles in the program already going on their 2nd or 3rd year. Are all of these guys obvious busts? Or is there concern that we're too young at that spot?

The same media types were gravely concerned about Gunner Gottula as well. I suspect that some of these guys don't really have any idea what they are talking about.

I guess the coaches forgot to consult with you. Winking

I'm going to go ahead and call B.S. on your claim that a third of men in this country know they have an STD and are activly trying to give it to a girl.

99% of men could kill 99% of women with their bare hands in 60 seconds...we are the stronger sex by a mile, its our job to protect them, not infect them with STD's...and drunk or not, a womans body is the most valuable thing they can give you, you don't take the most valuable thing a woman has to offer and give her an STD in return...but if you do, you are the lowest of the low.

How did this become a gender thing? How do you think guys get an STD? From a woman who has one and doesn't disclose. It definitely happens both ways. And I think there's a bit of a difference between not disclosing (perhaps because you don't know if you have one) to actively trying to infect someone. According to this, I guess it's 1 in 5 people have one, but that's just what's reported. Real number is probably somewhat higher. https://usafacts.org/articles/how-common-are-stds-in-the-us/

It was reported he knowingly did this to the woman...and if that is correct, and if I I have to explain in anymore detail why that makes him a douche that i'd rather not have on my favorite team, then we just live in different zip codes integrity wise and i'll save my energy discussing this anymore with you.

Here is a cut up of his reps against Michigan. He starts at RT and switches to LT around the 55 second mark. He loses a couple reps at RT early, but looked very solid at LT. Also moved really well on that WR screen.

Lite, the guy is unsalvageable. I can't read what he posted because I've got him on ignore but if the bolded above is what he said he's either a moron, a troll or a moronic troll. Don't waste your time on him.

You can't always trust what the papers say. You have every right to not like this guy, but these things are almost always a he said she said thing. I feel sorry for the girl, but there is a difference of actively looking for sex and actively getting enjoyment out of spreading a disease you may or may not know you had.

It is every bit as possible that you have an angry mother or father spreading those rumors to the paper. You don't think that happens, it sucks for both of them, but my friend they both paticipated in the act. Unless she was raped, I think this type of thing happens 1000's of times a day or more.

Not at all what I said.

If that's what happened, then I'd tend to agree. I didn't read the court case, I really don't know what happened. Like I said, I don't know how you even get caught for something like this. If he had some spat with the girl and texted her, "Haha now you have herpes." then yes he'd be an idiot and that's why he got caught. I don't know if that's how it went down or not.

True. And I'm always glad to see good talent brought in regardless of the position. Hopefully, this new guy is everything we hope he is. If NU wants to upgrade a position, add a veteran to balance a roster or just add competition, I get all of that. But when the rhetoric grows to a point that Nebraska is in "dire need" at a position like at right tackle, that makes me wonder. I suspect that our positional needs get exaggerated and that players already in the program get overlooked.

I expect him to be a starter. He better be because I have to assume we’re paying him a bunch. I also believe though that he’s a bridge to our young guys who will be redshirt freshmen. Will he start at LT or RT is the question.
