In the Big XII days, I would be excited to watch games between our conference rivals. K-State vs. Oklahoma, glued to the TV. A Colorado-Texas tilt? Bring me the popcorn and beer. Heck, I might even watch an entire Missouri-Texas Tech game if it was close.
But when we first switched to the Big Ten, other conference games made me feel . . . well . . . Meh.
Five years later, however, in the thick of a West division race, I'm actually quite excited to watch games today that in the early years I would have considered snoozers: Wisconsin vs. Northwestern: Bring It On!, Iowa vs. Penn State, I'm in!
