The Bears can fire their HC, that's fine. But only after cutting Keenan Allen. Throws his coaches under the bus while ignoring his QB's screw ups just to kiss his ass for more targets.
Their rookie QB caused that game ending debacle. Eberflus probably needs to go but the rest of their staff seems pretty competent. Their new OC has done a pretty good job after his promotion. It's an interesting situation. They really should have won or at least tied the game on that last drive. A W would have really helped my Vikes.
The QB you are paying MILLIONS of dollars to is using the excuse there was no communications from the sideline... I think his job description is to LEAD THE TEAM. If you can't determine time and distance then you need to sit down and learn the position. Million-dollar arm, FIVE CENT head...

Look at the screwups on the last drive. How much is on Williams? The last play? Team is undisciplined.
1. Veteran wr chucks ball and gets a penalty knowing they need to drive length of field.
2. Maybe the worst pick play ever. TE levels the guy. Penalty.
3. Olineman rips off dlineman helmet. Penalty.
4. Hc doesn't use a timeout when it's clear to America that they are only going to get 1 last play off.
I would have to watch it again, but I don't even know if the sack was on Williams. No time.

A competent HC would step in and help a rookie qb. No way someone like LaFleur or O'Connel would just stand there and let time run out.

That's the difference between having a dud HC vs a qb centric HC that develops young qbs.
Same here. I won't go back and watch it, but Williams is known for holding onto the ball too long. To me, it's always better to use a timeout too soon than to wait too long. So that is on the HC, but the coach's biggest mistake was trusting his rookie QB.
I saw it more as a case of a rookie qb lacking the confidence to use it and deferring to the HC. Which isn't shocking. I think most rookie qbs would assume the HC is going to be in command at the end of a game.

I would agree. Once he saw what Caleb was doing ( changing the play) with about 15 seconds or so . He. Should have called timeout. Then you decide if you want 2 Hail Marys or a 60 yd FG attempt
They won't fix anything until they get rid of Warren. His fingerprints are all over how this was handled. Pick out your favorite black candidate because this is where this deal is headed.
