I see that Bolt has announced his staff. As I've noted on RSS several times, I don't follow Husker baseball that closely. In football we are familiar that the HC, although usually perfectly capable of providing good coaching instruction, usually acts as more of a CEO and allows assistants at each position to do the lion's share of the teaching. It seems with only 2 assistants and being a non-profit sport that the HC in baseball must be much more involved in the teaching/coaching of the individual players? If so, while obviously not unimportant, the assistant hires may not be so critical like in football. What say you baseball guys.
