Hardly. We did win the B1G this year.Too many stranded runners. Erstad seat back to being warm.
You drinking I hope? There's only one guy his seat would be warm with and he lives in his Mom's basement and plays in a garage band.Too many stranded runners. Erstad seat back to being warm.
Crowds in Bloomington were pathetic. Go Omaha!! Let's show them what loyalty looks like in 1018.In Bloomington, IN, in the rain. Nobody there, save a few Husker fans behind the plate. GBR!

Sounds about like some of Paul Molitor's moves for the Twins today. Pinch hit a guy that had 8 strike outs in a row when all they needed was something to the outfield for a walk off win. Make that 9 strike outs in a row for Sano. Then he pulled a reliever after a couple of outs in the 14th to bring in his coming Wednesday starter (only available arm). He promptly gave up back to back homers on I think 2 pitches. Ball game. Managers go by their gut sometimes. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Clearly some things didn't work for Erstad this past week but the biggest issue was that the hits just didn't fall in when we had ducks on the pond. That is largely luck not coaching when that happens. I will note that Iowa obviously was hot at tournament time and getting beat by Maryland is no disgrace.I was being dramatic but he tried a sacrifice bunt with 2 men on no outs after their pitcher just walked a guy on 4 pitches and was on his heels, with one of your best hitters up... that was an inexcusable mistake. Swing the bat. Make that pitcher who was giving up hits and a couple of walks pitch to you. You never but there. Ever.
