This is a nice one to get. Be fun to watch how he develops. Will help him and us to get him on campus early.

All he had to do was cross a T. Didn't even have to dot the i's! Big addition to the defense. With Banderas and Rose-Ivey graduated, I believe he will get PT early next year.

Awesome news.

Just heard about Porcher and was coming to read bad news and saw this thread.

What are the dates for signing LOI when enrolling early?
Are there dates?
Is it binding before first Wednesday in February?

Yes, some GREAT news on a decommit day downer. This kid is going to be a factor RIGHT AWAY. Welcome aboard. GBR

LOI doesn't mean anything till he starts attending class. I'm a huge Avery fan, it's been awhile since we've had a freak athlete [LB] like him out of high school. So much potential, can't wait till spring ball.

Can't a guy just get to enjoy just a little good news. Even when he attends class, does not mean that he is going to stay. Oh woe is me. I spoiled my good thoughts. Please no more downers. Seriously, I agree 100%.

Sorry for not knowing the details. Was he already a verbal? Why can he sign earlier than other guys?

He didn't sign his LOI, he signed his non-binding financial aid papers...there is a difference

What the heck man? I'm more than stoked he's a Husker, just stating what he signed is non-binding from his standpoint, till he attends classes.

This kid is a stud based on the videos I have watched. Excited to see him in action for us. He is one of our top three recruits in my view

Answered my question. Thank you.

Once someone mentioned financial papers, it reminded me that this is what POB did last year before enrolling in January.

For a player that is enrolling early, he is not officially a Husker until he he actually starts classes in January. However, this is a promising sign. Winking

No, not official till he signs in February. Going to class is non binding. He can still quit school and go elsewhere.

Thanks..doors on the right.

Just clarifying, he can't sign his LOI until Febr like everyone else...Stringfellow signed same paperwork. All it means is coaches can have unlimited contact and talk about him publicly. Morgan747 info was corrent

Doors on the right comment was ridiculous

Not LOI...he signed his financial aid agreement. Does not bind him to anything...just binds the university to him. He still has to sign the LOI in February...which is usually a given as long as he shows up and starts classes in January.

Keyshawn Jr. also signed his.
