Exactly. Right now Hausman seems to be the only real loss. I imagine there will be some that will happen that will sucks, but so far so good.
Not true. Gould will go on to be a starter at another P5 school. He's got a bright future.
As of now, it isn't a loss as he hasn't played significant time. He may turn out to be good, but at this point no one knows.
He fits the Riley and Frost mold of a guy with a lot of stars but somehow glued to the bench while playing on a losing team.
IMO Hausmann is fishing to see what kind of NIL deal he can get. He knows he can always come back to Nebraska if he doesn't get an offer he likes. The rest of the guys could be without a home if things don't go their way. They're giving Rhule and staff an opportunity to replace them with better talent.
Walk ons were ahead of him on our depth chart. He was a 4 star that other schools backed off of because he blew out a knee.
So what. If he’s as talented as you say he should have had no problem jumping walk ons.
So you are saying he's going to transfer up? Like Alabama, Penn State or any of the other big time schools that show up on his recruiting page as giving him an "offer"? That would be pretty cool for a guy who was glued to the bench while Northwestern and Georgia Southern, etc. were piling up the yards. Bench riders for four win teams don't normally transfer up to the big time but maybe he's the exception.
I think he'll go on to be a multi-yr. starter at whatever school he chooses.
That might not be saying much depending on who accepts him.
