Are some of these decommits...

Some likely. Others like Hausmann probably more of individual pursuit unfortunately

Outside of Hausmann, Thompson, and a couple skill guys, I’m not stressed about losing anyone off a 4-8 squad. To me it’s bananas that that you wouldn’t want to stay for a coach that has actually developed dudes and put them in the NFL, but to each their own.

Exactly. Right now Hausman seems to be the only real loss. I imagine there will be some that will happen that will sucks, but so far so good.

I would think you would at least meet with your position coach to see if it could work before transfering..
unless a nil or playing time thing, and you can do better somewhere else

IMO Hausmann is fishing to see what kind of NIL deal he can get. He knows he can always come back to Nebraska if he doesn't get an offer he likes. The rest of the guys could be without a home if things don't go their way. They're giving Rhule and staff an opportunity to replace them with better talent.

You'll see.
So you are saying he's going to transfer up? Like Alabama, Penn State or any of the other big time schools that show up on his recruiting page as giving him an "offer"? That would be pretty cool for a guy who was glued to the bench while Northwestern and Georgia Southern, etc. were piling up the yards. Bench riders for four win teams don't normally transfer up to the big time but maybe he's the exception.

This is optimistic spin.

Rhule will get this turned around, but he landed in a bad situation with our 2022 season and Joseph’s situation.

I think he'll go on to be a multi-yr. starter at whatever school he chooses.
