Anyone ever use DNA testing services?

I've been intrigued with the DNA testing services, and will likely get a kit in the near future (more out of curiosity about genealogy than anything else). I see that there are quite a few services out there (Ancestry, 23andme, FamilyTree, etc.), and wanted to know if anyone has ever used or compared these services. TIA
