My son ran two 40s last week. The first one he finished. The second one he did not. His knee popped or maybe more like clicked. Went to ortho today and he found fluid on the knee as well as something under the knee cap. We have an MRI tomorrow to verify, but he said that it's likely that a piece of cartilage broke off and is there causing his left knee to click (because his right knee doesn't).
So, let's say that my son needs a scope to remove the cartilage. Let's say that there are no other issues. How quickly is he back to full speed? We are against a clock here with baseball offseason starting once we return from Christmas break.
Thanks!
