Which begs the question, which player or players on NU's current roster will transfer and put up 40 for someone else?

Methinks there will be some opportunities (although I don't believe any could score 40)

One of the most efficient 40 points also. I believe I heard he was 12-16 from the field (8-9 from 3 pt).

Of course Nebraska would love a guy who can fill it up, but I do believe the experience the younger players have gotten this year was advanced due to his absence.

Good point. Hopefully they'll be applying that experience at Nebraska and not somewhere else.

White has probably saved Miles' job for another lost year. It's always good to have your excuses handy when you are trying to justify to your boss another year to try to make the NIT.

Just curious, if Miles sticks around and makes the NCAA next season, will you openly say you're wrong?

This is a pointless exercise. It can be spun just as easy to ask if he stays and has another bad year, will YOU admit you are wrong?
I have said all along he needs another year, but if today ends up being Senior (and transfer) day for a chunk of all of this super-talented roster we hear about...... it will be hard to sit through another developemental year.

Which players could you see transferring?
Horne, I could see that.

If I am the AD, I see a team that played hard sans the last week and a half. I see a team that showed it belonged on the court with top 25 teams. I see a team that is young and will get better.

I give him another year. If they are at or below .500 then yes as an AD I would be wrong and gladly admit it.

Just curious, when will you admit you are wrong to keep supporting a guy that can't even make the NIT? Of course, there will surely be more transfers or injuries to excuse his incompetence for another year.

I have stated before (not based in any fact or anything I have heard) that I could see at least 2. Horne, Watson (don't know why, he has just looked disinterested in team huddles), and maybe one more.

Please stop with starting transfer rumors.

Hopefully we can get some of our returning talent to transfer out so the new kids can get more chances at gaining valuable experience.

Many college teams are beset with transfers or early declaration for the draft, and NU is certainly no exception. As I recall, we have lost at least one player each year for the last few years. The question is not will we lose anyone. The question is, how many. After today's showing, I fear the worst.
