I have no insider info, but visiting another school doesn't rule out where they land. I believe Morrow visited with Iowa State and ended up at Marquette. It would be foolish for any player transferring to not check out a couple options.I'm not sure who else we're recruiting, but wouldn't count on either Brase or Agau. Brase is currently visiting Iowa State and Agau is visiting Illinois.
It isn't like he didn't have an opportunity in Lincoln the first time around. TM recruited him pretty hard and lost out. Some how Agau maybe just doesn't want to be in Lincoln.I wonder of NU Basketball has even expressed any interest in Agau? Wouldn't it be something if he commits to Illinois and then puts up about 15 points and 10 rebounds on us?
I agree with your comment.....but NU B-Ball must start getting some players from Omaha, Lincoln, etc. to commit & play @ NU.It isn't like he didn't have an opportunity in Lincoln the first time around. Don't disagree with you, but are there any players that can play BIG ball. I'm sure there are jacobson talents availableI agree with your comment.....but NU B-Ball must start getting some players from Omaha, Lincoln, etc. to commit & play @ NU.
I believe that there are, but quite often local talent seems to get held to a higher standard. Jacobson, by the way, can play in the Big 10. There's no reason to expect that he won't play good basketball as a 4th & 5th year four man coming off sitting out a year. He's got a nice looking shot. It may start falling after a year in the weight room and shooting 1000 shots a day.Don't disagree with you, but are there any players that can play BIG ball. Didn't Miles have a kid from Ralston on his CSU team that was a solid contributor. I think he recruited him straight from high schoolFrom scuttlebutt I hear (yes, that's a real word), Omaha coaches do not trust Miles. I believe it had something to do with how Deverell Biggs was treated, and then Aguek Arop.
There has been contact between NU and Agau. No clue how much interest there is on either side.Other than the potential transfer from Princeton (Brase?), does anyone know of who else NU Basketball may be recruiting now as Graduate transfer(s)? Aga? Others?

Grades!!Is there anything going on with David Wingett? Is Miles in on him?
He's going to a prep school. I believe it's in North CarolinaIs there anything going on with David Wingett? Is Miles in on him?
I doubt that he is on North Carolina's radar screen!A prep school in North Carolina could mean the Tar Heels.

FWIW It does keep a spot for late transfers like the top 100 guy we took this last year.
I agree for the most part, this year is a bit more urgent, and would be nice to fill the class for his sake.Keeping a scholarship for a higher end player over a mid-level player for an immediate bandaid makes sense. But doing the right thing doesn't fit your agenda.

Brase to ISU today so it would seem that closes the door for Jacobsen at ISU. Man I wish Jacobsen would reconsider and come back.Keeping a scholarship for a higher end player over a mid-level player for an immediate bandaid makes sense. But doing the right thing doesn't fit your agenda.
Not that I necessarily expect Jacobson to end up at ISU, but Brase's signing shouldn't preclude him from going there. Brase is a graduate transfer who will be gone by the time Jacobson is eligible to play.Brase to ISU today so it would seem that closes the door for Jacobsen at ISU. Doesn't every school keep 2 or 3 unfilled at all times? How many scholarships does ISU have available?

There you go again. I never once said that Jacobsen sucked. Not once. Not even remotely. In fact I was accused on multiple occasions of pumping up his ability too much. Sigh.....He sucks anyway, right, so why would YOU want him back? It's perfectly normal and OK to be losing 4 kids to transfers. All is well within our basketball program. Nothing to worry about. Sigh..

What good does arguing among yourselves do? Neither wins the he said/he said argument. Many are more interested in dialogue about who are potential recruits including graduate transfers going forward. You've said he shouldn't be a starter on a B1G team, didn't you? You also said that we wouldn't miss him, didn't you? That's pretty much the equivalent of saying he sucks.
I posted that Ed shouldn't probably be a starter on a B1G team. I don't recall ever saying that about Jacobsen. I also do not recall ever saying that either guy "wouldn't be missed". So once again you keep making crap up to fit your twisted agenda. You've said he shouldn't be a starter on a B1G team, didn't you? You also said that we wouldn't miss him, didn't you? None but I won't sit back and let somebody continue to make false claims about what I've posted about players. I'm as sick of his bickering as you are. What good does arguing among yourselves do? Seems to be an absence of any information now about who NU Basketball might be recruiting? Anyone have any information?I posted that Ed shouldn't probably be a starter on a B1G team.
