Who? I think there was a game between Washington and some other team.

I do remember an entire section of Buffalo ‘fans’ being kicked out in Boulder (2005?) for throwing things on the field and stopping the game. That is not a microcosm of the Colorado Buffalo fanbase. That IS the mentality of the fanbase. Total losers. They have riots, burning and overturning cars when they WIN! You guys are unbelievable. Stay classy Puff!

CU has more in common with us that Iowa at least. CU has at least won something major in their history. They had a pretty good run at one time but have floundered of late largely due to their crappy administration and poor culture promulgated by the hippy lettuce culture. The politics would drive me nuts out there, but I would love to live on the front range.

Nailed it on the administration.

Madison and Ann Arbor were once known as "Berkeleys of the Midwest". The old hippies in those towns don't seem to hurt the football programs in those places.

This season aside, the hippie lettuce cultures in Seattle and the Bay Area don't seem to hurt Washington and Stanford, either.

I'm guessing Eugene also has its share of hippies.

Says someone whose program hasn't been, and won't be, relevant for decades. I guess, in your opinion, Princeton is a "blueblood" football program. After all they do have 7 times as many national championships in football than nebraska does. 28 versus 4. What you don't seem to comprehend is that at some point a program is just "history"......not a blueblood. Nebraska has reached that point, a while ago. They are now the team other teams want to schedule for homecoming to ensure a win. Not exactly "blueblood" resume' material!!

2) Nebraska hasn't been in the higher echelons for quite sometime. I'm not a big fan of much of the CU base, but keep this little attitude of yours in mind the next time you gripe about how lousy you're treated in Boulder, and maybe look the mirror.

It was one sentence without much detail....and nothing about flipping over and/or burning cars. Worse things happened after Super Bowl wins...and other things. Funny that you focus on one college football game.

Heck...it doesn't even say anything about the students specifically being football fans. If you read the whole list, there is a lot there with regards to a history of unrest in that town that has nothing to do with CU football.

2 of my best friends are CU fans, so I don't appreciate their entire fan base labeled....just like we wouldn't like our entire fan base labeled because of the idiots within it (and yes, we have idiots among the Husker fan base). I'd take a few Husker fans lighting a bonfire in the middle of O Street any day over "Sal is Dead--Go Big Red".
