Horrible play call. Get the first down and then throw in the end zone on 1st down. But that was PI, a ton of contact and the DB never saw the ball.

Reminiscent of the Pelini fake punt call, just stupid.

Can't defend the indefensible. We hired a 62 year old "experienced" coach for crap like that?
Was thinking the exact same thing. I'd love to hear what the hell if anything, was going through langsdorf's mind there. No problem going for it, but the play call was idiotic.
The 3rd down call was terrible too. Give Cross some room to operate.
